Acura's

sports coupe is Acura's entry-level model and offers the rare combination of solid performance, good comfort, and overall value. While few changes are in the offing for 2006, it remains stylish and sophisticated inside and out without being overly flashy. Its lively 155-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is available with either a five-speed-manual (which is recommended for maximum launch power) or five-speed-automatic transmission. The sportier Type-S version, meanwhile, remains the most satisfying version, with a high-output 201-horsepower 2.0-liter engine, close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox, and a stiffer suspension. A long list of standard features includes four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes, front-side airbags, a power moonroof, automatic air conditioning, a premium CD stereo, and alloy wheels. A new color, Global Silver Metallic is added to the palette for 2006. A redesigned version is expected for 2007
